Smut things for amygdalae

Success of the day: getting Bruce Banner onto the couch next to him. This is a success for Tony, because Bruce is a hard person to keep in close proximity. Even when there really are no stressful events to trigger any unexpected changes, Tony can't always get him to accept the close contact that is Tony Stark. So this is a victory.

Also Phase One of his operation for the evening.

He's only an inch or so to the side, close enough to just wrap his arm around him, but he doesn't. Not yet. Instead he puts his hand on Bruce's thigh, drumming his fingers lightly with a dry amusement at the whole situation.

"Comfortable? You look like your trying to impersonate my wall, Banner."

And maybe he's not really that stiff, but Tony has a goal he's moving toward with this.

"Pancakes are nice," Tony agrees. "We'll have pancakes. And science. Maybe I'll just keep you in the lab all day. We can multitask."

He can't help but tease, because he's so pleasantly relaxed himself. And Bruce's hand is on his reactor. That is both mildly frightening and exciting for him. And despite what they have just done, he can feel his dick twitch slightly in response. It's a dangerous gesture under normal circumstances, and one he doesn't often let others try. But this is Bruce.

"We can do everything," he breathes. "All of it. Just name it and we'll do it."

It's all perfect in Tony's opinion. Now that Bruce is willing to get close to him and allow contact, nothing could make the day bad. He pulls him closer into his arms and lets out a shuddering breath. It should be easier for him to keep his own control, but somehow Bruce just pulls it out of him. And he doesn't mind. Five more minutes isn't nearly long enough, and Tony can feel himself relaxing into a puddle of contentment on the bed.

Bruce hums, both in agreement and contentment as he tries to open his eyes, but finds his eyelids far too heavy and can't bring himself to get the strength to open them again. There's a pleasant buzz around him now, everything around him feeling sweet and warm and heavy just like honey. He thinks he can taste it on his lips right now.

He takes in another deep breath when Tony draws him in closer, inhaling the scent of Tony deep inside him so he can keep it and bottle it up. Bruce exhales quietly, breathing out over the junction of neck and shoulder and its nice, its really nice, and Bruce feels himself drifting off in the warmth of Tony'd arms holding him and the secure press of their bodies together, grounding him down.

"Everything..." Bruce is mumbling by now, syllables slurring together as he drifts off. "...with you. Anything with you."

As soon as he says that his breathing evens out, and Bruce's last word trails off into a soft sound as he slips off into sleep.
