It's been so long, far too long, and Bruce honestly forgot just how good this feels. The little things like these he had once taken for granted now mean so much to him, and Bruce wants to keep all of this forever. He doesn't want this night to pass because it will be different once the morning comes and he hs to think so much about this - about what this all means to him.

Bruce shifts himself after Tony does, settling himself more comfortably at Tony's side as he lets out a soft, contented purr. Being this close to Tony he thinks he can feel the pulse beating on his neck, the faint hum of the arc reactor on his chest. He doesn't think as he wriggles his other hand up and rests his palm lightly over the device, feeling a faint wave of heat from the surface.

"Pancakes," he decides after a moment, because he loves pancakes but had never eaten them for so long already and he misses them all of a sudden. "Pancakes are nice." He closes his eyes after that and breathes in deep, curling his fingers over the arc reactor in a loose fist. "And I thought that we had science to do."

Pancakes and science and sex with Tony. That sounds amazing in his head, really. It sounded just like the makings of a perfect day to him.
