The touch helps. It grounds Bruce to the now, instead of making him wonder about the future and all the things that might happen. There's no point thinking about it for now, not when everything is still open for... well, anything. Bruce knows that they'll have to go through this step by step - but for what its worth, neither of them will be alone.

It's a nice sentiment. And this time, he knows what he can save it for.

This time, he doesn't resist when Tony kisses him, parting his lips as Bruce himself leans forward, allowing himself this - knowing that for now, he was safe as he could ever be. His grip relaxes, and the hand on the arc reactor moves, shifting over to settle on the small of Tony's back as he returns the kiss with his own.
